A clean black dial distinguishes this durable, dark-hued Invicta Men's Pro Diver Collection Coin-Edge Swiss Automatic Watch. A polished stainless steel band joins to a durable stainless steel case that's topped by a black, ion-coated, unidirectional coin-edge bezel that is imprinted with white indexes and Arabic numeral minute indicators in increments of 10. The striking black dial is protected by a scratch-resistant, sapphire-coated window, showcasing luminescent geometric hour indicators that complement luminescent, silver-tone hands. Small white minute markers and a date window at the three o'clock position complete the look of the visually appealing dial. This Swiss-automatic diving watch is water resistant to an impressive 660 feet (200 M) and is presented in a yellow Invicta gift box along with a buffing cloth.

Great watch

My husband has always wanted the Rolex Submariner but we just can't bring ourselves to spend the money on one. I researched watches and this looked to be a good alternative for a fraction of the cost. So far, my husband loves this watch. It looks a lot like the submariner and is also really heavy. The perpetual motion really sets it apart from the less expensive watches. He has gotten many compliments on it.

FANTASTIC WATCH

This is a fantastic watch. It is beautiful out of the box with a sapphire crystal, sweeping second hand, and stainless bracelet. It is almost a dead ringer for the Rolex Submariner. It is not however a clone but a great swiss watch in its own right. The second hand has the Invicta emblem on it and Invicta is engraved on the case as well as on the dial, of course. The main difference in the Rolex and the Invicta 9937OB is the stainless bracelet which is much higher quality on the Invicta.
I highly recommend this watch!

Excellent Watch For The Money!!

Somewhat skeptical when purchasing this watch. I was very pleased though when it arrived. Well built, very heavy duty, and keeps excellent time. I must have gotten lucky with the Swiss movement because it only gains about a second every few days. I have never owned an automatic time piece, I have only had the Seiko Kinetic. You will not be disappointed with this watch. I have a 7" wrist and it fits great with a few links out. I would purchase Invicta again. It is also notable that it is striking how much it resembles the Rolex Sub Mariner Steel.

Very Disappointed

Reviewed by Mountain Man, 2009-10-27

After receiving this watch I noticed a pin in the band was partially sticking out and was bent, and after fixing that with some pliers, I noticed one of the screws attaching the band to the case was missing entirely. It is unbelievable that Invicta could ship something like that out their door. Where is their quality control? After reading some other reviews, I discovered several other similar quality control issues with this and other Invicta models. I noticed also that the ratcheted bezel does not turn well and seems cheap. I am returning the watch and will buy a different brand. If you are considering Invicta, I urge you too to perhaps go with a different brand as there is a good chance that you will be disappointed as well.

Lovin' it - amazing value

Bought this to replace my scallop bezel 8926 when the link attaching the band to the case broke off for the 6th time and I lost the piece that holds them together around the pin.

While it isn't a Rolex Submariner, there are several things that I love about the watch.

1. 26-jewel Swiss Movement. As far as I can tell, I am only gaining 4 mins/month - very acceptable for me. It also provides a great sweeping motion across the face moving at 28,800 BPH.
2. Link attaching to case. It is solid, not hollow, and screws in. It seems much more durable than the one on the 8926 and I anticipate it not breaking pins nearly as often. It also uses screws, not pins.
4. Clasp. Much more significant than the one on the 8926.
5. Bezel. I am *very* happy with the coin-edge bezel. I looks much nicer and is much more functional when you need to rotate it.

It is truly a stellar timepiece for the price.
